In-home lifestyle newborn photography sessions are my absolute favourites. Being in the frame with your little one gives you the ability to remember what it felt like to hold something so small and precious and new.

Victoria and her husband welcomed their newborn baby boy- giving me that cute content that I LOVE. Victoria chose for lifestyle newborn photography sessions at her home in South Auckland.

This in-home lifestyle newborn photography session was everything a newborn time should be: lots of snuggling, snoozing, and a hearty dose of love.

These are great to capture this specific moment in time in the house you brought your babe home to! (Maybe a little bit less messy than real life but who would know…)

During the newborn photography sessions, I always try to document the moments and details that I’d want of my own baby. Tiny toes, delicate lips, and newborn wrinkles but mostly pictures that would make me recall the feelings while holding this tiny human. I really hope these photos bring back those feelings for Victoria and her husband as their first baby grows into a little boy.

Their home was filled with so much natural light and earthy colour. I love how these images have turned bright and warm. Having said that, every home is different and every family is different. I love to capture the families with their originality, essence and the bond they share as a family.
